Final Event

After three exciting years, the final event of our research project UrbANT took place in november at ika.

The goal of the UrbANT research project was to develop three electrically driven delivery robots that allow for the comfortable transport of large and heavy goods and interact safely, reliably and intuitively with the users. In this way, UrbANT can on the one hand follow its users and on the other hand deliver goods completely autonomously.

After the presentations on the project in the morning, the participants were able to experience the automated transport robots at first hand. In addition to the UrbANTs, which are specialised for various tasks with its parcel stations, shopping and folding units, exhibits were also on display that provided an insight into the development history of robots. We are proud of what has been achieved in the last three years and are already looking forward to future projects.
